The Story of Say Olé

Truth be told, I'm not the biggest fan of bananas. So how did I end up making a granolal chock full of bananas?

My good friend was heading out to Mexico on vacation and wanted something she could snack on, that would also get her excited about her upcoming trip. When I asked her if she had any "must-haves" for flavor, she asked for two things: peanuts and bananas. She also said "no" to raisins. I had my marching orders and began experimenting with different spice combinations and mix-ins to go with bananas and peanuts. I finally landed on pecans, cashews and sweetened coconut, which made Say Ole a little sweeter than my other granolas, and a crunchy delight!
